Ok let me go with the first one that came to mind, Lauren Hill's album, although a great album, she has not been back since on any significant level, Cher, she enjoyed a cute one single comeback after that nothing. Am i wrong?

the band Garbage, last I saw Shirley she was on Terminator the Sarah Conner Chronicles that got cancelled after two seasons.
