I love me some Lauryn Hill, but it's Brandy.

I think Miseducation is somewhat overrated. Lots of filler on that album, in my opinion.

The album sold very well though. It did like 5 million here in the US alone. From 1995 through 2002 she was quite a factor.

It was sarcasm ..who would actually believe that. The tour only lasted for like 6 weeks

And I used to be a Brandy stan. I still own every Brandy album. I just never thought the bitch was God's gift to R&B. She's not a live performer. She's an alright actress. She hasn't been that much of a vocalist until recently -- and she still can't compete with half of the R&B divas of her day such as Toni Braxton. Her only outstanding albums were Afrodisiac and Never Say Never, one which is dated and the other hasn't been heard by more than 50 people. She had no impact on the music industry. She hasn't paved the way for anybody other than JoJo and Tiffany Evans. The only thing that Brandy has was being an 'it girl' for the 90's, one album, a voice and Moesha re-runs.

Agreed. It's a GREAT album but some act like as if it's some sort of bible or whatever

I think I get the reason for the polls and it's been great debate, my thing is I have kinda stuck with ok what did this album do for the artist and the audience and is it still remembered today? Madonna's ROL really put her back on after she had some flops, by 90's standards, now some folks will come in here and try to argue Madonna didn't flop off "Erotica" or "Bedtime Stories" BUT but 90's standards those albums did not do her well.

Exactly. It's an outstanding R&B album but it still can't compete with Ray Of Light for me.
