“Take Em Down” Could it be the potential next single off of “I don’t know what it’s gonna be”/“Work In Progress”??? ? I remember hearing about it earlier in the year when “Made For Now” was announced as Janet’s new single. It’s apparently produced by Jimmy and Terry only so for those hoping for new music solely her dynamic duo of producers, I wonder if it will be released as a single! ?

Honestly I’m just as confused as you are by this as she doesn’t even know what to release at this point. Whatever it is I’ll buy it but it’s unusual for Janet to have this strange uncertainty about what she is gonna release when over the course of her 4 decade career it’s always been “I’m releasing an album”! I agree wholeheartedly. Though this is only a fun song (that will be on her new album!) to get her fans hyped for the official first single next month (With You). Not if there’s an album announcement soon after!!! Could you imagine the hype and awesomeness of getting a full album after a great EP!?! This would be a great way to keep excitement for more music to come in a limited time frame! The Bruno collabo is just a BONUS not a detriment to the album’s release! Giving her fans a lot more to look forward to. An EP and album in ONE era!?! I get it if that’s what they are planning! ????

Hmmmmm...that could be why an EP is being released FIRST! Because I remember that article earlier this year that said they were planning to collaborate for her next ALBUM! So the whole EP first, then an album soon after would make sense in that case. Honestly, that’s the ONLY way I can see this whole EP working if it’s just a “tease” for the full album follow up. We get an EP with all the singles and videos from this era, followed by the LP a few months later with the Bruno collabo and more songs. If that’s the game Janet and her new team are playing at, then I think it’s brilliant! A great way to keep fans and casual listeners invested in the whole era!

But “Unbreakable” had like 17 songs with just ONE interlude, and even that wasn’t an interlude and more a preview of a bonus song! I have faith in her if she decides to do a full album and release it! ?

Yeah I got waaay too excited and realized that as I re-watched! ???? But there’s still hope for a full LP.
