  1. And let's be clear. It doesn't matter if Janet performs again or not, it's that she's still targeted over it.
  2. That's why I'm kinda numb to it. Part of the problem is that this millennium hasn't been riped with many superstars as in the past. So he was probably inevitable. We have a good reason the complain, but it won't mean much as the narrative is pretty much set in stone.
  3. So the Chicago one sold out and I'm lowkey mad at myself.
  4. https://twitter.com/JanetJackson/status/894733214262083585/photo/1
  5. I like JALW. I think it's one of the highlights of Damita Jo. Though it's grown in me a little, the album just didn't have any memorable material.
  6. This is the first time hearing this mix. I love it!!!! This would probably would have been serviceable to radio than the album version (I think that the drums and guitars could have been moved around to flow better) . While I can appreciate the song for having some of Janet's rawest vocals,I can admit it did serve more so as a filler.
  7. I think it's a bigger problem now with all this 'wokeness' in the media and pop culture.
  8. That site is pretty homophobic anyway, so spare your insanity....
  9. I admit I love me some 90s house beats, otherwise..............Swish Swish. She really needs to reset on this one.
  10. Happy Birthday and to many more....
  11. It's better, but the lyrics are pretty bad.
  12. There;s nothing wrong with that. She at the point where she's best selling nostalgia imo.
  13. While i don't disagree with you, at what time did become over-saturation? Why wasn't it like that in the 80s? (I think I have my theories.)
  14. ^ OT but I missed the concept of the music variety show and artists performing to promote their work. What caused it to be reduce to only performing on award shows and other high profile events?
  15. I honestly hope she does a dance album.
  16. Don't forget the fallacies, distortions and manipulation of discussions they engage in.
  17. While I wouldn't mind it, it would unfairly put Janet in a bad light.
  18. Nice try. What I was saying was that the label or other parties weren't in debt. What makes a project a failure if there is significant debt.
  19. It's not the album sales didn't matter at all, but considering the type of project it was, it had a lower benchmark to break even.
  20. It made a profit. That's what matters.
  21. I also posted this on Wissam's thread:
  22. I'm gonna put this on both this and the Eissa thread but the way things are playing out are getting more and more peculiar:
  23. Come through Jansus!!!!
