R&B is a term for music that appeals to the urban African American community. It goes back to the 40s, so it's definitely no trend. R&B just has to find a way of re-inventing itself if it wants to be popular again.
But R&B isn't some dated trend though. I think it is going through a bad period. Hell, there were periods when pop wasn't given the time of day on radio.
The solution is getting these students back to work. The main problem was that the economy tanked when some students were enrolling.
I don't necessarily agree with forgiving the loans, but rather get students in a position to be able to pay the loans.
I admitted that I wanted a follow-up because I just wanted to hear Janet, but I was realistic and completely understood that she need to take a long break after that disaster of an era.
I don't understand the excessive hostility towards the show. Yeah, the show got stale, just like many other shows, but it did indeed make an impact on pop culture and I think it should be acknowledged.
You work for the Air Force or some aircraft company? It seems like both of cities are aircraft hubs....
I can't say anything either but they seem like very slow paced big cities.
This is exactly my sentiments. For me, she could do no wrong in the 90s, but by After the Storm, things just tapered off then just completely fell off by 2006. She has her moment but things ever really recovered.
In fairness, I think people are doing too much with Iggy. She just wants to make a living doing music like many others. It ain't her fault people like it.
I'm not big on Chris as I don't think his catalog carries much value (No one will play his stuff 15 years from now.) but I wouldn't call him irrelevant though....
I was wondering why atrl was flooded with Natalia Kills threads.
This seems to have gone international. This is probably the most fame they've ever received. Neither of them had any real success.
