No. I think you and Austin dislike that some Janet fans dont't like Beyonce no matter how big she becomes. You want to insinuate that 1.) It's one-sided in that all the hostility only comes from us and 2.) Janet fans are the only ones that trash Beyonce. That reality is that there is always gonna be some immaturity in music Fandom and some of us should be mature enough to roll out eyes.

I can sat that my one complaint about Janet is the she seems so afraid to be transparent. Doing stuff and not wanting to explain anything leaves a lot of confusion.

I think this time around we had to redefine success for Janet and many weren't able to do so.

I have no problem with anyone being miffed about the cancellations/postponements, but the situation about the tour isn't black or white. That's what I'm trying to say.

If it ultimately gets canceled, it just means the tour fell short of its ambitions. Otherwise there was still a tour where she didn't manage to have good attendance. Absolutely nothing like RWU where she was performing to half empty venue.

How is the tour not successful though? Most most of the shows were sold out on the first leg. Did the postponement fuck up the momentum? Perhaps. But unsuccessful is not accurate imo. This has little to do with low expectations. Some don't want to accept that this is never gonna be some big project. The complainers only give 2 cents of fucks about the quality the album. They just wanted the numbers to stan over.

Honestly, even though the era was below expectations for many and things could have been handled better, I wouldn't consider this era some total failure. I think lack transparency and communication was a big problem, but some fans wanted this era to be bigger than what it was ever going to be. As an Indie project, there was probably no intention for this to be a big project. Therefore, even if it only sold a few hundred thousand copies, it still made a profit simply because she didn't invest a lot into the project. Also, the first leg was a money maker. Nothing like th RWU tour. So the porject made money.... Honestly, if she is gonna come back, the rest of the tour will have to be significantly scaled down.

Well accept the fact that some will support Janet no matter what.

My problem with you (and the other defectors) is this: If you want to leave the pasture, fine. Your disappointment and concerns are valid. But coming back only to throw salt is as immature as the fans you accuse of being.

I hope your right about the Induct Janet campaign bus seeing some fans trash it is what brought me to make this topic.

What is going to be of the Janet comminity? After going on twitter, it very annoying and frustrating how respect for Janet has eroded among the fans. It makes you wonder are we sitting on a sinking ship that is the fan community? I find myself having to in follow people to keep myself sane. I am hoping Janet will re-emerge soon, but I think she's ready to live a detached life meaning the obsolescence of these forums. I hope I'm wrong.

What exactly happened with TOF?

I will say this first: My greatest condolences go out to Shane. He probably brought so much joy to the lives of the people he encountered. Now voids are left in the hearts of many people. I am as angry, frustrated, and confused as most of you. That said: Some of you fans live for drama. Not everyone has to jump on their laptops or phones the instant something breaking is occurring. One also needn't someone famous to validate their feelings toward something with 140 letters. Also, the promo vid being post was not anything to have a meltdown over. I fully understand for many, your minds are in a different place at that time, but it was nothing that warranted Janet shouting on the phone "Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!" It came off insulting because some fans need a reason to trash Janet. And ever when she finally said something, it could've ended right there, but noooooo, some chose to beat a dead horse. And people wonder why Janet is so disconnected. I would be team LUTFA too.

Oh God, some of you just want to hear yourselves talk at this point. She demonstrated that she was aware of Orlando. What else do you want from her.

But Beyonce and Madonna fans do the same thing to Janet, even come to Janet's articles and youtube videos and say how those two are better. What makes them different?
