  1. What makes the industry being a mob far fetched?
  2. Honestly, the 2004 event was 100% intentional. Janet did not intend for it to backfire or even be seen as something that major. But they had every intent on flashing her breast. Now, as far as how it was used by the media/FCC Janet was a pawn in a larger game for censorship. If you look at all the HQ pictures Janet's breast plate area was only held together by snap buttons. There was no tear in the "red" area. They used janet to push their censorship agenda and she fell due to how it all played out.
  3. I don't even think you can compare the two tracks. But curtains was a dope sexy vibe, and I like it. But Well Traveled is more classic. It's a bit timeless too. In my opinion it could've done well as an alternative single. Although at this point I don't like your videos and feel they're lame and obsolete, I think she could have used her travel footage tour, charity, family, old, & new. Maybe even something merging the looks of all the era's and have her redo the look from some of the era's up to Unbreakable. I think it would have went over well. I love Well Traveled, and the vocals.
  4. She sounds really young & nostalgic in that clip. Jimmy is trying to keep people remembering this era and they seem very proud of it. I wish Dammn Baby video would've dropped. I love Jimmy's loyalty and honor for Janet
  5. For God's sake just think, Drew Barrymore was an addict by the time she was 9 years old & NO ONE went to jail for that. It's the kind of place where you go to secret parties and elite gatherings. Peoples fetishes are celebrated, and humans are products just like the endorsements they sell. Every drug is at your finger tips, Bill Cosby gets persecuted & Charlie Sheen gets laughed at. In this place plastic surgery along with drugs is encouraged at a very young age. Record label executives take, threaten, and monitor the lives of artist. This is the fortress for the agenda push. Artist are walking drones. They are the idolized representatives of brands, ideology, and perfection. They receive free products in an effort to influence the masses to pay for them. The higher you go the exclusiveness becomes even more apparent. Hollywood is the only place where a person can look alien & we call it beauty. Honestly, the entire scheme of things seems very cultish.
  6. I don't think people know what it's like to be in that limelight. The evils they face, and years ago Janet told you all that celebrities sell their souls (Scream) and I think we took it metaphorically, but the evils in high places that rule the influence of the world literally will turn you soulless. They believe they own every aspect of you. Celebrities experience shit we think is science fiction. Especially the higher you go. When people hear the word "rituals" they dismiss it as an archaic & conspiracy driven word but rituals are a common practice in society down to holidays & celebrations. The industry has their own. These are humans facing things you couldn't imagine. I don't know why people find it hard to believe celebrities end up hating it. More celebrities are miserable than they are happy....yet that life is so glamorized people still want it.
  7. There's 3 interviews that come to mind. All were around the promoting of True You. The one where she is in a black & white jacket with the short hair and comb over. Then there's one with the black female interviewer and it was a kinda long interview but they were vibing. I think Janet is in a black dress. When she talked about Joe, the girl says "what did you say" & Janet says, "when your parents said something did you talk back?" The last one I believe is with Janet wearing a crinkly bob with a white jacket. The interviewer asked if you had it to do all over again would you, and she pauses and says "No, I can't say that I would."
  8. Janet didn't say they would kill anyone and that's not what I said. Janet said the industry was evil & if she had to do it all over again she doesn't know that she would.
  9. I pray Janet remains in great health but actually unlike the other artist I think Janet thrives in seclusion. I agree with @DasSad about the business being evil. Janet herself has said that, and they are willing to steal, kill, and destroy artist when they become too powerful. Too powerful seems to mean when they own their music and catalogs. The common thread is when artist, especially black & well established get hold of their masters they seem to die off. Shortly after too. I don't think Prince was on drugs, you never know, but nah I don't think so. It sounds like foul play with him performing in Atlanta and everyone saying he looked and sounded good. Then a few days later boom. Prince is one of my the greatest artist and musicians of all time. He came from an era of artist that just doesn't exist anymore. Although Michael had an addiction problem, I think it was used to slowly take him out for his estate. These evil people are VERY real. MJ said they wanted his catalog and will kill for it. Now he's dead and they just bought it back. There is no coincidence. We just ignore the signs of the evil people in high places. If Janet would have executed this era correctly she could have posed one of the garaged threats to the industry & whose to say how they would have come after her.
  10. mmmm those are all honorable mentions. I always felt the extra production on her voice for Trust a Try disqualified it but I fucking love that song. Can't Be Stopped is one of my favorite Janet songs hands down but there's parts where I wish she was vocally clearer. Nonetheless it's one of my favorite songs over all
  11. What's up everyone, so here's a topic that's a hot one usually but never discussed in full enough...IMO. What songs do you feel express Janet's best vocals. I might miss some, but here's mine, and if you want you can name some live performances BUT! She has to be actually singing live...soooo that's the catch. Go! He Doesn't Know I'm Alive Pleasure Principle - Kinda Funny How Time Flies Rhythm Nation Escapade Lonely Love Will Never Do You Need Me Come Back To Me - Live Janet. tour & RN your Again - ESPECIALLY VR tour when she says "just one more time" Funky Big Band Because of Love Anytime Anyplace - SNL & Track I Get Lonely - Rosie & all other times 24Play Anything My Need Special All For You When We Ooo Come On Get Up - Maybe (Give or Take) Island Life Im Here - Bridge & Outro ONLY What Can I Say Luv 2 Luv Let Me Know - was ok for the more matured voice Night Dream Maker Well Traveled No Sleeep bridge Broken Hearts Heal Unbreakable - toward the end
  12. If this was able to be done on HBO it would have been able to have more depth to it and rawness. Lifetime couldn't do a biopic on Lifetime itself and it be good.
  13. It would be dope if she did it through Lionsgate and got HBO involved.
  14. When this happens isn't it proof of lip-snyching? Seriously asking. If this is what the audio is?
  15. really?! Forgive my ignorance but I thought that would've been a given. Ass eating is almost a necessary act of real oral lol
  16. One of the best experiences...
  17. Did you move to Miami from FL? I'm trying to see if this is the same fan I used to chop it up with back & the day. Sounds like our freaky convos. Lol
  18. Basically I feel like when Janet told everyone she was taking time off for the family. She was basically saying, don't expect to see me any time soon. Every one knows Janet goes in hiding better than anyone else. She only gets seen when she calls the paparazzi and tells them to meet her at a shoe store while she browses just to say it's her "Janet's first outing since ______". At this point it doesn't make sense to release a video when you have no intent to follow it up with anything for the next year or so long. The era is over unless she emerges around her birthday to she she's 50 & pregnant...get some buzz that she's looking better than ever with a baby bump, but it's all so mysterious at this point. I think we've seen all of Janet we'll see for this year, MAYBE!!! Around her birthday I wouldn't be surprised but that's about it.
  19. Every person who has an issue with the way Janet's religious beliefs or Wissam's religious beliefs would have them act, your problem really is with Janet not the religion. Janet is a multimillionaire who found something she believes in whether you agree or disagree. It could be for a number of reasons from her feeling like, after years of being a sex object modesty serves her higher purpose all the way to her actually LIKING the tradition itself. I find it so odd that people who protest for the open mindedness & acceptance of the masses turn right around and tell people how they should believe. Its like everyone gets labeled harsh terms when their ideologies don't fit the comforts of however you're living your life. The beauty of this massive world is diversity. From opinions to Faith's to the way you dress. Sorry, but it's no one's business if Janet evolved in her opinion of how she wants to serve her man. Believe it or not, what some Americans call problematic...others joyfully call tradition. And everyone is not hard pressed to change tradition some people LOVE their traditions & feel whole with them. Just like it's kinda self-centered to believe that every trans or homosexual person shares the same ideals about how homosexuality & transgendered lifestyles should be interpreted. Idk, it's just odd to me the people who want the most logical understanding becomes the most intolerant when it comes to those who think differently. It's like you either HATE us or think like us. Kinda cultish.
  20. 35 is considered late and high risk in today's healthcare.
  21. Your cynacism doesn't make some else's faith and the results of said faith void. Whether she said Allah or God it does not discredit her being a Muslim. I believe actions and there is other language besides direct words such as symbolism, body language, suggestive, & many more. So you're assuming she's not because she didn't say it, I'm assuming she is because she seems to be promoting it IRONICALLY now that she's tied into a traditionally Muslim family. All the way down to procreating, and I'm very sure that child will be Muslim like its mother and father. Also despite the common belief about women being in such bad shape to have children later in life, Janet comes from a mother who had her "late". Genetically she might be just fine having that child later. It wasn't uncommon for women in the past to do it. I'm sure under the right care and with her strong faith guiding them she will have health. Also, for faith & belief to play no parts in healthcare there seems to be miracles that go unexplained in healthcare.
  22. why would it make her stupid and poor to have faith in a religion that differs from your ideals of intelligence? Why can't it be a perspective thing? What if Janet doesn't prefer the scientific route because she wants to have the natural order of having a child & used her faith toward believing in it & it materialized for her? What if that's a testament of faith for her & her husband? What if she wants to feel her child kick inside her body? Is she stupid to you every time she points to the sky & says Insha Allah? Or in the past every time she spoke of God & her connection to faith & prayer? If her prayers to the "Dream Maker" have come true how can you call her stupid if she so decides to go with the way of her faith? You tear people apart for having critiques of career moves yet you jump on her personal beliefs, by imposing your own claiming she's smart enough to share yours.
  23. I thought about that, and it makes sense. I actually more than anything believe she's having it herself.
