It was a nice album for the "island". Loved JALW when it came out until I saw the video for it! I instantly loved IWU, I would play that shit as soon as I would get back home from work on repeat, I so wish Janet would have gone that direction for the rest of the album....I Want You would be become the template for several albums to come out with that throwback Neo/Soul Motown sound that became popular up until Justina Timberpuss' last album for The 20/20 experience....I mean "Suit and Tie" has elements of "I Want You" all over it! I swear when I heard "Suit & Tie" I instantly thought of "I Want You"....even the vocal style was identical. Would have loved.....oh wait I'm suppose to be talking about The Damita Jo tour. Yeah R&B Junkie, Like You Don't Love Me, My Baby, Damita Jo, All Night and I Want You. Like I said......it's a beautiful "island" life album.

It was on repeat with the sound on mute for like an hour last night!

Love being nude in the ocean that's for sure.......last time was in 2010 in Puerto Vallarta. My ex and I got into a canoe that the hotel had and paddled over to a cove that was on the other side of the hotel and it was completely private. We paddled over to the sand and got out of the canoe. I quickly took off my board shorts and ran into the water! It was the best 2 hours ever of swimming in the ocean naked. There was a couple of people in their canoes that passed us by but they couldn't tell I was naked as they didn't paddle directly into our cove. My ex though would not take his shorts off. He was too scared someone would catch him. He wasn't as adventurous as I was in public. But if we were in the privacy of our home that boy was a freak.

You are right...Wendy is not worth it. But at the same time if someone were to read her for this and/or add the Janet pic with her quotes it shouldn't be taken seriously as well. It should be taken more with a "you got me bitch" tone.

Janet playing The Hollywood Bowl May 21st is a dream come true!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhh this is everything!!!!!

It was such a shame that she didn't tour cause Janet was fighting back by promoting as hell for about a month after the Superbowl incident...her doing SNL was brilliant and she didn't shy away from making fun of the incident not once but twice on SNL! I'm glad for her sanity she didn't tour though because it was relentless......the right wing probably at that time would have done protests at her concerts to distract us from the war. I mean they finally just admitted this year that they overreacted to the incident.

I don't think Janet would ever become those things. Janet may have accepted the Muslim faith but I don't think she will ever be able to cut off her Christian roots.

I don't have a problem with it if Janet has chosen to be Muslim or not. God knows what is in your heart and it doesn't matter what language you say his name in. And the entire Muslim community are not terrorists. So sick of people freaking out when they hear the word "Muslim". All I know is God is my judge.
