Love how in the group photos half the girls are looking to the left and the other half on the other side of Janet looking to the right with Janet looking dead on to the center. The styling by Kim Bowen in this is spot on. Love the makeup too! The black and white shot of Janet looking down with the stripe of makeup crossing from cheek to cheek over her nose reminds so much of a new reinvented image for Tina Turner's role in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.....Janet would be an amazing Aunty Entity!!!!!!

Thank you Angie for keeping this alive up until this point. I would have never thought of myself as one to be on a fan board and when I discovered Janet's I had to join! It's definitely been an eye opener to me and a great adventure to see everyone's different takes on Janet. Yeah we had a few members who were on here to bash Janet or promote their game but all in all it was a lot of fun. This board had me in stitches at times! Let's see what happens once the tour really kicks in and Janet releases the Missy cut. She's gotta do at least 3 to 4 videos! Thank you Angie!

The most skin she has shown was during All For You and she was on her A Game!!!!! Loved the whole backstage footage in between songs while she would change into her next outfit.....especially loved the part where she would take her top part off and she would place her arms and hands to cover her chest.....damn that was so sexy! Janet was a goddess during the AFY tour! Body yadda yadda for days!!!!!! And those cheekbones would slice like a sword!

Yeah I definitely wasn't active from 2008 until now only because I had a lot of priorities going on with work and then moving back to Hollywood in 2010 then moving back to the South Bay in 2013 and starting up my own company that very same year. I might be back in Hollywood come 2016. We shall see. I kinda like having the distance between Hollywood and my home place. Would love to move to Hermosa Beach and change it all up. But it would be a shame to lose contact with some of you but at the same time I don't think it's a good idea to have a fan board on Janet's website because she doesn't need that negativity anywhere. It's time to move forward in peace.

I don't think it will be the next single. It's a song dedicated to her fans, the people and family that she loves. I think it stands alone as a beautiful song on the album for her fans to appreciate without her releasing it to the public. I don't think she would have released it already for us to hear if it were her next single. It was released purely to satisfy our thirst.

You are right over the port and 2 bridges from me. Love certain parts of Long Beach. The red line is awesome......wish they would create a line that goes directly down the 110 Freeway to San Pedro. It's better to use the subway system...especially for you now that you have to go from Long Beach to Universal. That commute is awful. It would take me at least an hour to an hour and half at times to get home and mind you while driving you would get those attacks where you would find yourself falling asleep and suddenly wake up while driving. I hated that. So dangerous. Glad our train/subway system is slowly growing. By next year we should be able to go to Santa Monica from Downtown....I think it's the Culver City line that they are extending.

So I thought the rumors of her next album would be "Disco" influenced may not be true? I was looking forward to her take on Disco! I gotta say I always loved Gaga's talents....I am not a die hard fan but when that hooker performed at the Oscars "i was like, this bitch aint to be messed with". She's truly an all around top grade A performer and that voice is amazing!

Do you get the same? I don't get offended at all. When I was in Israel and walking the streets in Jaffa and Jerusalem people would start speaking to me in Arabic and I just shook my head saying I don't speak Arabic. When I was at the airport leaving Israel they held me for 3 hours checking all my belongings and computer made me miss my flight. The attendant that was taking me from one part of the airport to another said to me that I looked exactly like one of their coworkers that worked at the airport with them and they thought I was trying to leave the country. She then followed up with "You should be honored that we think you are an Israeli!"

You are obviously reading too much into my thoughts on what I believe "white trash" to be not white people in general. I never said all white people. There is not one racist bone in my body. But there is a recognition of the truth that Bailey just eloquently explained to you and I hope that sheds some light on where I was coming from. I don't speak Uhhhh. Care to elaborate? As far as what you underlined from what you quoted me you honestly can't believe these people don't exist. I mean take a look at what's going on in country as far as race issues.

It may sound like a generalization...I get you. But I'm talking about "white trash" whether they are upper or lower class. I know a lot of lower and upper class whites who are not trash so please don't think I hate white people. I'm a huge mutt and people think I'm white, some people think I'm Mediterranean, some people even think I'm Arabic(Middle Eastern) at times. I've been able to see a lot of buried secrets because of this which is why I think it makes me so compassionate for any human being.

It's the truth. Just like when white people have no idea they are white trash! At least Mexicans and Blacks own up to it if and know how to make the best of it and laugh about it. Gosh the whitest of the trash is truly sad. I actually feel bad for them. There's no community in white trash just like there is no community with the white rich. The best white people are blue collar and I know some of the most amazing hard working white people who have the biggest hearts. All my white friends I consider my family, I don't fuck with any others. They get it and they are fighting the good fight with me! Love my crackers!

I'm not going to read the comments as I already know what they are going to say. It's so sad.....Janet has had to prove herself as a major force outside of her family and Michael's shadow and she has in many ways and in certain times a lot more than Michael even. I can't stomach the things that haters call Janet; she truly gets the worse of it out of any female musician and if they just knew how wrong they were about Janet they would repent. But Janet has the strongest backbone and she has already won and conquered her worst fears. But you know there are certain days that the anger over it all creeps out and makes Janet want to come undone if for just one second. There is not one human being who deserves this let alone Janet who has the biggest heart.

And forget about Miley's nipslip at the VMA's.....no one cared about that, it was bound to happen yet no warning or delay, actually I'm sure the delay is still enforced but again no one cared that it happened(interesting). Black women do have a double standard. Madonna's concerts are filled with 90% white people....half if not more are gay. You go to a Janet concert and you think you are attending a U.N. meeting! And for those that think this is not race/gender related all I have to say is you will never understand, and please accept that fact just as easily as you dismiss the truth.

MTV should really have the balls to repay Janet for what they did to her back in 2004 and air a special showcasing the tour and a couple of videos once she has 2 more under her belt from the new album. Maybe when she releases "Burn it Up" with Missy. They should bring back the fervor of an event like they did in the past with her tours when they opened or when they would world premier her videos. Come on MTV....would it really hurt you much to do the right thing and do something special for an artist that contributed so much to your viewing audience and school these younger children how much of a blueprint Janet laid out for the lessors? Come through MTV!!!!!!

I lived mostly in Hollywood/Downtown L.A. for the last 20 years but have been going back and forth from Downtown to the Southbay where I grew up. Now I'm back in the Southbay in San Pedro. Yeah just never liked his flair of entitlement and I could smell his intentions for being on this board. And he was very extreme at times...just foul with his comments towards everyone. At least the TheHiltonSuite was cordial even though he would throw backhanded compliments to Janet.

This is such a beautiful throwback to what real R&B music is all about! Love it as an intro to the album and the beat and musicality is pure magic.
