The slutty sultry sex kitten doesn't work - other girls do it better. OK, I'll agree with not focusing on the dancing (hell I've even said a while back she should try having her 1st single be a ballad, like it's what people want from her more than dance music), and save the routines for the tours and show out....if it's a must. But it really must be noted that she can actually DANCE and sang like she does, and not sound anything other than a lil shaky when she's giving her all. You know what, I think thats her main thing, she's always been a I can do anything chick, and to an extent she succeeded in showing that she really can (she sangs better than her peers, she's a better dancer than alot of them, she can write good songs, produce good songs, perform, and her acting isnt horrible or even bad, just not special) but yea....she gotta serve her specialty dish and not worry about the sides. As far as we see & know she's the only women in pop music to have a range thats at least in the same arena as Mariah's, and has a power in her voice in the same arena as Whitney. People act like they don't know or like it doesn't matter, it does, it really does make her stand out, like it made other vocal powerhouses stand out in their time. It doesn't matter though, because you have Mariah and you have Whitney, and Christina's voice could never top them. Her discography is not memorable. She has little to no cultural impact except for maybe being the precursor to Ke$ha in terms of style. That's why as much potential as she had to be great, her unfulfillment of that is not upsetting anyone. People are ambivalent to her.
