Shameful, Ledisi would've had folks running to a baptism. and John Legend said she requested to sing the song. That should have been a moment for Ledisi to shine on a main stage. They played the ledisi and beyonce version back to back on the radio and its not even close. I am not even religious and Ledisi's version made me feel some type of way. Hers was perfect and she would've perfomed it PERFECT, that's not a song for vocal acrobatics, that's a song for SOUUUUUL & Raw emotion. Plus it would've gotten her the exposure that she needs, she's 1 of THE top vocalists of this generation, but nobody knows her because she's Neo-soul and that's her lane, it would've been a great platform for her to gain some exposure and wow people with that voice.
