Rock & Roll Hall of Game
18 tracks vs 12 tracks and 6 interludes.. I'll take the tracks
JoeJoe
Promise is kind of an interlude. Other than that I don't mind. I didn't even really notice them missing
RedSimba
There's also this sorta outro after Gon B Alright ~ its like an AFY intro throwback lol.
bu.
I'm fine without them. The way the tracks go into each other, I'd rather interludes didn't interrupt that.
Jodienda76
I completely, and totally miss them. Nobody does interludes like Janet.
Laveaux
those Discipline interludes were a fool though. they served no purpose what-so-ever...Janet talking to her imaginary friend is not cute. Janet still manages to progress the album with her intro Hello, Its been awhile...Side 1/Side 2..Dream Maker kinda feels interludey...Promise can work as an interlude as well and then there is her outro where she sounds like a cast member on Fargo. Then again she could have very well recorded some interludes, maybe they just didn't fit what she was trying to do.
Bailey
I think we got used to having certain things, when they're not there we kinda want them, even when you look back and see they only served a marginal purpose and sometimes didnt work well, others they did, this new album flows fine as it is
Kishi
I don't care for interludes. Now if they're anything like Kendrick Lamar's "For Free?", then I'm all for it!
JJATL
I don't miss the interludes AT ALL. Honestly, ever since the invention of the iPod/iPhone, shuffling my music with Janet's interludes is so annoying. LOL I finally had to go in and remove them all because I would shuffle only Janet's music and have to listen to 3 or 4 random interludes at a time before a real song would come on. I have a feeling this had something to do with their decision not to include them this time around.
