You're angry

I know this

The world couldn't care less

You're lonely

I feel this

And you wish you were the best

No teachers

Or guidance

And you always walk alone

You're crying

At night when

Nobody else is home

Come over here and let me hold your hand and hug you darling

I promise you that it won't always feel this bad

There are so many things I want to say to you

You're the boy I used to be

You little heartbroken 16 year old me

You're laughing

But you're hiding

God I know that trick too well

You forget

That I've been you

And now I'm just the shell

I promise

I love you and

Everything will work out fine

Don't try to

Grow up yet

Oh just give it some time

The pain you feel is real you're not asleep but it's a nightmare

But you can wake up anytime

Oh don't lose your passion or the fighter that's inside of you

I would tell that to my 16 year old me...

wake up, don't start smoking it's pointless, exercise, you're smart get thru school NOW.... :filenails: look at how smoove and flat your stomach is, and how nice your body really is, you have looks, brains, a big heart, be careful, people are dangerous, trust no one that hasn't earned it, live life, get out see things, so you can grow see what matters and what does not

To my 12 year old self: I told you, you would make it. They prepared you for the hard times because they knew they would come. And that they probably would not be here to see it. It's all about keeping the faith, sweetie. Like our namesake, keep the faith.

I'd talk to my 11 to 18 year old self!!

* love yourself

* do what you enjoy

* focus on what matters most

* don't get caught up in gossip

* ignore the negativity

* work harder and smarter

* face your problems and fears

* learn from your mistakes

* it's okay to be confused

* don't put so much pressure on yourself
