Stans are annoying, but I don't let that affect how I feel about an artist anymore. The artist doesn't know these psychos personally anyway. I avoid the blogs, stay out of forum drama, and don't spend much time on Twitter. Stan-free is the way to be. I'm here for the music, not just one artist. Your average music lover is just a casual fan and most dedicated fans keep it healthy. There are a lot of people out there who do not frequent social networking sites, messages board, and fan sites, because it's not a need for them. Stans are a MINORITY and do not represent the fan base of any artist. They just make it their priority to try and make a name for themselves. I do agree with you cause i've seen and been in a few arguments regarding football and my homeboy Anthony is a diehard Cowboys fan and they are either the most or one of the most annoying fans ever. Exactly like Beyonce stans. Make up every excuse or reason why their team is better than any whether they make it to the playoffs or not.
