Well, we do know it won’t b an “Unbreakable/SOTW” rehash!!! Thank God!!! Lol If new music is def coming soon, the show will have to incoprate her new songs and completely revamp the set list based on the refreshing and thought provoking new theme(s) of it. All I know from the lengthy synopsis, this looks like her biggest and most ambitious show since “The Rockwitchu Tour”. Clearly Janet is feeling VERY certain and confident again about doing a show of this magnitude which is SOOOOO promising and exciting!!!

Not bad considering her harsh reputation for cancelling tours!!! State of The World Tour was def only the beginning and a great show to transition to a new era with!!! Also there’s already speculation of “Metamorphosis” might be the title of the upcoming album; especially given the show’s thematic synopsis that sounds like a concept for a Janet album with it including such themes as motherhood and activism. Could a “Metamorphosis” World Tour stem from this residency???!?

One wonders what’s the strategy here with this unforeseen turn of events!!! Will Janet still be doing Glastonbury in Europe because those June dates conflict with that scheduling??? I think she still might tour Europe with the new album but her European fans are already getting pissed by the lack of interest in performing there now. We will see! But honestly, this residency sounds AWESOME tho! A bigger and more explosive budget with god knows how many costume changes, elaborate staging and pyrotechnics like her classic concerts!!! Also that 30th anniversary of Rhythm Nation portin of the show is unexpected and that alone makes me want to book my flight, ticket and hotel room today!!!
