  1. Usually I would say “The Velvet Rope” as the past 6 years or so of my life have been dark and introspective but now I say, “Unbreakable”. Definitely feeling very mature and demure while being fun and fearless at the same time. I’m old school with a modern twist!!! Lol how bout u guys???
  2. Sounds AWESOME!!! And I love the part about “relaunching her career in a MAJOR WAY this year!!!” I’m gonna stick with my theory of a NEW international tour to coincide with her new album!!! *Fingers crossed*
  3. Honestly I’m shocked and disgusted!!! I’m sorry but ANYONE who defends a Trump supporter after THIS especially?!? What an idiot!!! Free speech my ass!!!
  4. That’s why a new tour makes more sense. “Unbreakable” seemed more like a tour to support the actual album while “State of The World” seems more like a greatest hits tour. It wouldn’t make sense if she continued this tour with a new album on the way since she would have to drastically switch up the set list to promote it. Hence, my theory!
  5. Honestly, I have a feeling State of the World Part 3/2019 might be the last leg and a short one at that like the 2nd leg last year! Something tells me the “State of the World Tour” has just been a transitional tour to make up for Janet’s bad reputation of cancelling tours since “Rock Witchu” and especially “Unbreakable”. If the lastest rumors of a new single and album on the way are true, maybe Janet and her team have been working on not only making her more accessible in other markets as well as reintroducing her to a younger generation but making her a reliable touring artist again, especially “globally”. I know Janet doesn’t owe her fans anything at this point but it would make sense why the roll out of international dates for SOTW have been so slow or non-existent. Maybe after the R+RHOF induction, Janet will have a new single and album out, spend most of the year promoting it with more singles and videos this year as well as live performances and interviews until she announces a NEW World Tour starting in late 2019 until mid 2020!!! Remember this is all speculation!!! but considering the build up of last year’s rollout with MFN, her multiple Icon/Lifetime Achievements, etc. It seems that Janet and her team are trying to make her a MAJORLY profitable artist again even this late in her career and that’s....kind of awesome!!!
  6. Honestly, it still bugs the hell out of me!!! More proof that Janet was so out of her musical element during the 2000s, the fact that such awesome unreleased tracks like “What I Can I Say?” and “Clap Your Hands” were left off “Damita Jo” and “20 Y.O.” is still baffling!!! My god, I’d rather listen to “Put It On You”, “Could This Be Love”, even “Pop Ups” than MOST of the tracks on DJ. Sigh.....
  7. Would you say it was a “Would You Mind” kind of night or “Any Time, Any Place” encounter???
  8. I’ve always said “Sometimes it doesn’t matter who did it first, it matters who did it best!”
  9. I remember wanting to have only 2 kids but now I want 4 maximum! Kinda weird!
  10. I remember back in 2002 when they were at the Grammy Awards holding hands like a couple. Definitely not mad at Janet!
  11. Well, Janet has several projects lined up this year according to a recent article, maybe the long awaited Netflix doc is one of them???
  12. Yeah, that would make sense!!! Definitely would boost sales in the Latin markets for sure!!!
  13. Welcome newbie!!! Stay away from Game!!!
  14. Hmmmm possibly her 1987 Grammy Awards performance???
  15. I wonder when the new single will drop and when the corresponding music video will be released??? Probably at the same time like “Made For Now” was! Sounds like “Made For Now” was only a pre-single to the album and the official first single for the album will be released soon!?! At least based on how the article put it. Like I said, hope she releases the album around her R&RHOF Induction because the promos for her new album with the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee” title added to it would be a stellar strategy to gain more interest in the project!
  16. In terms of tours, I’d rank them: 1. TVR tour 2. Janet. tour 3. State of the World Tour (Especially the Second Leg So far!!! So sexy and incredible!) 4. Rhythm Nation Tour 5. Unbreakable World Tour (Outside the infamous pants, not a bad revamped, fresh tour!) 6. Rock Witchu Tour (The only problem is how short lived it was! ) 7. All For You Tour (Just a HUGE step down from TVR tour!) 8. Up Close And Personal Tour (Meh! Not bad at all! Her last full world tour but I guess that lack of consistent costumes just bothered me! )
  17. I would hope!!! An album around March would be the perfect time for a release!!!
  18. Is it bad that I’m more upset that the “Glitter” fiasco caused the All For You era to end abruptly in terms of singles and videos?!? Definitely felt like after “Son of A Gun” there should have been more singles in store like “Trust A Try” and “When We Oooo” but whatever. What we got was good anyway!
