Still, the Album was pretty good (better than what people think of it) ant the outtakes too. If all was well, it could have lasted into 2005. She did travel throughout Europe and Japan more than usual though and all the performances everywhere (including SB) were really good not even taking into account she was 38 or so.

I really like how her voice has been sounding. Her vocals are great and harmonies from her are always amazing. The sound itself is cool too. Very motown

The interludes seem to be apart of the songs themselves instead of stand alone tracks this time

Exactly this...the fact that she opened her tour and killed all of the songs and performances IN addition to the new songs, new photos and just info about the project and its production should be enough to get people talking. I saw bits of the concert and was really excited just to watch the performances. a year ago people said she was done (not that she needed to do anything else). She's doing great, her energy seems radiant, dancing and singing on point AND added good visuals. Seems she's just begun her fun for this era and can't wait to see it unfold!

Yeah they would tear at her wether she did (stunt) or she didn't (disrespectful). It's sad she can't win though

I looked this up since this sounded funny. It was on TRL 2001 (she must have appeared twice that year). when the tour trucks came up she said she only had 16. She did say "Wrong tour" and laughed...so I don't think it's reaching really

I like the way her voice is sounding on the snippet. For all we know the beat/rhythm can change after that verse. There are songs that change pace like that (not that it has to). I wonder what sparked the album title change though. Well at least if CIAC really was the title. I liked that it was a bit ambiguous because she could have came at everyone from any kind of angle. I do like Unbrakeable though (personally like it more) as it's more straight forward and she can personalize it as well. I'd rather compare it to Control instead of Discipline tho and hope it's something like that

I think Britney Spears did something like that in 2001/2002. Not that it's a big thing though. In general for Janet, I see her having 2 set lists like kaeh said. Whatever she does we'll find out in a couple of weeks. Things like this are always cool to think/talk about though

I actually think her first two albums aren't AS bad as people make them out to be. That Jackson overdose in the early-mid 80s didn't seem to help either . Of course they aren't going to get far with most of her albums after though. For lack of a better word, in a Basic world 20.YO >> DJ . Control is the album that made me really like her music so I'm a bit bias with it

I guess most of that hate is/was because it's came right after VR and people expected something like that. Maybe also because it's lighter and fluffier than the past albums overall (not that it's a bad thing). The album and it's singles are nostalgic for me since I was really little haha. I think it could have been that much better if a certain 2 or 3 songs were cut and the order was rearranged though I don't think it's worth hating either way though

I think the list changed somewhat because the first list had the other 6... < VR < Control < Janet < RN1814 the one up now has. The other 6 albums Control < RN1814 < Janet < VR. I agree with the first one more but they both have their issues haha

I'm sure the solo single version will still be available for those who like it better. Maybe both can get more play on radio/streaming sites because there are two versions. Can't wait to see what the video will be like though

Black Cat >>> That song made me the fan I am today. It just solidified it for me. The song is everything. I'd say it's my personal favourite of hers to be honest. It's so totally unexpected from her. I wonder what people thought of it at the time since it was so far from the Janet they new at the time. It's among my favorites from her too. The guitars are good and she keeps up with it. People were probably like and (in a good way!)
