  1. They swore up and down she was using a surrogate now they know she has twins...? I would be even more happy for her if she does really have twins though.
  2. I'm going to reserve judgment for now. She is planning a family
  3. Rock With You was a favorite of mine! That's terrible news. RIP
  4. Definitely true. Especially since they've been somewhat neglected during the YouTube/Spotify boom and even during her prime. However, if they know Janet well enough to deem her "local" then they should know that she was Never local to begin with. Ignorance should not be worn as crown. She's had high charting singles and #1s in Europe since 1986 and her singles performed much better worldwide than people may think they did. Janet even had 3 Eurochart #1s (which covers 16 countries). As far as her no UK #1s go, that is unfortunate since TTWLG was blocked by an EP which is totally unfair. Janet shares a record for most top 10s W/O hitting number 1 with either Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi (forgot which one). She also has as many Top 10s as Whitney Houston over there and I think Janet has more Top 40 hits than Houston too. I bet they wouldn't say anything about the others being "local" about that. All and all, yes I wish Janet promoted herself better in the continent but she has had PLENTY of success over there and has plenty of fans in the UK and the Rest of Europe regardless of the numbers and stats.
  5. They covered so much ground! I really like hearing about Janet's process during the studio production and writing. I would love to hear those outtakes lol. Hearing Jimmy and Kelly thank eachother at the end like that was great too!
  6. Totally agree! Its a shame they get slept on like this. I'd also say that these generations would gravitate more naturally to her music also (than that of her contemporaries).

    MTV VMA 2016

She did good. She sang Stay, Diamonds, and Love on the Brain. A bit on the dramatic side though but I think she was pretty pumped though
  8. :28 :38 :52 1:02 1:14 1:31 1:40 1:47 1:52 and 1:57 until the end I think is her..
  9. The issue is bigger than whatever happened with Janet and Justin and their fan bases. Janet was brought up because the original tweet needlessly brought her name up. Justin didn't even address that part of the tweet in his response so any mention of Janet beyond that is unwarrantable. Just because some aren't fond of him doesn't mean every Janet fan hates him or his music. I'm not taking his words out of context I'm explaining why people reacted the way they did.
  10. Who's jumping to conclusions? Stating facts and pointing out flaws =/= jumping to conclusions. He apologized and moved on The events on Twitter DID happen so what is there to make up? PS: He could have just tweeted again like he did for his "misunderstood" statement.
  11. Exactly.... So it's his own fault that he was "misunderstood".
  12. It's obvious what he meant; his comment wasn't exactly profound or revolutionary. He was not well articulated and it doesn't take a SJW to see why some would take his comment the wrong way.
  13. He was okay up until he replied to that comment. For him to say that right after praising Jesse William's speech should raise some flags because it shows he either missed the point of the speech or ignored it (seems to be the former).
  14. I wish I knew sooner lol. I was in like 2nd-3rd grade when the remix came out and everyone was playing it had no idea it was a remake. The original has better vocals and feels more like a whole song (the remix feels like a hook/sample sort of thing). The original also reminded me of Brandy and Monica which makes me wonder why it wasn't as successful as the remake.
  15. I didn't know there was an original until a few months ago. I like both tbh although I think I like the feel of the remake better and I've heard it so much
  16. Yeah I'm glad she was happy and everything. She was radiant then and it showed throughout the whole era. I didn't get to listen to the whole album until much later when going through her catalog. I do like it for what it represents for her at the time and I even see that sort of thing repeated with other people but some of the filler drags the album a good bit but grew to enjoy it as a whole
  17. It took me forever to actually listen to all of All For You. It was very fluffy and light which is fine for what it is but I usually don't like that type of thing unless it's for a few tracks or something. It's mainly the filler tracks that messes with the album but I like some of them though
  18. Daybreak is among the few songs I play from the album. I liked the beat and didn't mind the sneaking out her room line ( I thought she was imagining being 8 again or something). I guess it's not a big standout on the album but I'd say it's one of the better tracks
  19. The first few pictures and the last one are the ones l like most. Even though there isn't any particularly new info it's still good to see Jimmy speaking about Janet
  20. I heard Escapade and Diamonds a while after at a supermarket
  21. I was talking about sit down performances though like ATAP @ SNL and that IGL performance for example
  22. Speaking of which, is this the last of her sit down televised performances where she's is just singing and sitting down? I don't recall seeing anymore just like this since
  23. That's awesome! I wish it were released and licensed HERE in the US but glad it exists though. I'll have to look for it sometime. Scream would definitely be one of the best ones! Imagine Michael and Janet popping out of the screen during the breakdown . I actually think the videos from HIStory would all be amazing. There are many I would love to see in 3D so I wouldn't even know where to start (Besides Thriller or Ghosts)
