I agree with the AMAs being the weakest. I was actually embarrassed. It wasn't energetic or hype like it usually is. The crowd seemed bored and I think the horrible lip sync added to it. The asian theme was cool to bring back from the video BUT she didnt fully execute. It felt lukewarm. It was juss the Japanese graphics lit up and her asian costumes..and a big empty stage. She should have brought the blowing red fabric if she was gonna go back to the video. It was definitely missing props that would have REALLY took it to the next level..but her costume def was NOT a go for me. Her in the color BLUE for "If" ?????? Janet herself danced one chorus and a dance break for majority of the medley songs(All For You, All Nite, BURNITUP) because she included more dancing songs on that tour than Number Ones which ran 1hr 30 mins(1 hr of performance not considering costume changes) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All Nite, Feedback, Alright, Nasty, Control, Miss You Much, Pleasure Principle, etc. were all revamped the past 2 tours and residency with fresh move!!! With only small moments of signature moves from the original routine. She even changed the choreography for Feedback within a year of SOTW 2 and Metamorphosis. Hell, she completely revamped the choreography for All For You during the Damita Jo era (which was worse in my opinion). I’m sorry but certain moves need to remain untouched. If it ain’t broke, please don’t fix it. If, RN, Doesn’t Really Matter, Janet kills it those dance breaks and are cemented in pop history. Those moves made her a legend and what people want to see just as much as new moves. I mean there’s a reason why when people pay tribute to her, the classic choreography is front and center!
