TwistedElegance™
Shout-out to VoodooChild for the choices in this round. Billboard Hot 100 chart peaks for each are listed below. Singles from Acoustic Soul: 1. Video (#47) 2. Brown Skin (didn't chart) 3. Strength, Courage & Wisdom (didn't chart) 4. Ready For Love (didn't chart) Singles from Southern Hummingbird: 1. Oops (Oh My) [#7] 2. Call Me (#31) 3. Smoking Cigarettes (didn't chart) While I prefer Tweet's more distinctive voice, I enjoyed India's album just that little bit more. She gets my vote. Kim
TE, this poll is not cool. How you gonna make me choose between these two ridiculously great debut albums? I have to say though, they really made Tweet's album seem like something it's not. By releasing Oops and Call Me, they really downplayed the soul on that album. I guess they thought the Oops image would sell more.
