bzebabe
Well to be honest ...Ciara doesnt limit herself genderwise either..she can give u female but Ciara gives u MALE DANCER too ..thats what I love about Ciara that she's dancing "HARD" like a nigga at times. She can easily go toe to toe with the males. she might not limit herself as far as gender (even though I think she does most of the time), but style??? more limited than the movement in mama Knowles face after her botox appointment....if she back bends one more time i'm going to slap the shit out of her I swear 'fo GAWD

henrietta.
Because Mike isn't a genius. He got stuck on the same dance routine, same 80s sound and did too much with his videos so folks would think he's great, but whatever.

Bailey
i'd say when it comes to performing and art, he is definitely stand alone as the best showman....I won't get into the genius part of it...I already made a thread about that and was pleasantly surprised that folks weren't in there doing the most lol...I think everyone knows my stance on MJ being a genius beyond being a genius showman lol i wanted and wished to have seen his last show full effects and all, I think he really was gonna one up Madonna

She can easily go toe to toe with the males. What makes Chris unique, though, is that he's the only GUY willing to go all out. All the other dudes are trying so hard to give "boy" that their art doesn't rise to the level that it could if they just let go.

J.
Put the eggnog down Pretty much. She tried to be feminine but for the most part it came off as contrived.
henrietta.
Pretty much. She tried to be feminine but for the most part it came off as contrived. I think she pulled it off in "Promise" and "L,S,M". "Work" was just a "girl move on" routine.
art
Not promise I'm watching it right now and I'm not seeing any femininity besides the fact she's wearing high heels P.S. - It's been forever since I heard this song. The remix shits on lives!
SonofBaldwin
I think she pulled it off in "Promise" and "L',S,M". "Work" was just a "girl move on" routine. I agree with "Promise."

henrietta.
I will give you promise "L,S,M" is too. The only thing mainly is the footwork she did at the end when performing it. The cabaret routine, which was mostly all of it, was fem.

SonofBaldwin
Although, I do have to say: Ciara's giving Boy more often than she's giving Girl in "Promise."
janetDAYZ
I agree with "Promise." Well in most catergories, males have always been looked at as being BETTER than women for the most part (society). I think the fact that Ciara is a female and can actually go toe to toe with a male dancer says ALOT about her skills becausewomen are NATURALLY the underdogs when it comes to competing w/ males ..hence to why in sports, awards shows,etc..you see gender vs the same gender. Its not toomany females that could "show up" in a room full of male dancers...she should INDEED get credit for that at least....AT LEAST..Im sorry

It has ALWAYS been my opinion that women are, generally speaking, better dancers than men and I'm ALWAYS surprised when a man can dance better than a woman. And a man is usually a better dancer when he embraces both the masculine and feminine aspects of the art instead of just one. (Most men are not brave enough to embrace both. That's why most men are so limited and boxed-in with their dancing.) Besides, it's like Faith Whittlesey once said: “Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did, backwards and on high heels.”
