  1. Yesterday while shopping in the Adidas Store in Soho, I heard 2Nite. Coincidentally enough, Look Out Weekend was the next song played.
  2. I wouldn't be happy if it's like an ex ex.. like someone I was emotionally involved with. If I was someone I just had sex with then I probably wouldn't care. A lot of community property running around out there.
  3. I'm grown when I want to fuck; welp.. then I do it. But I am very hot and cold. Like if you don't strike while I'm hot, bitch don't touch me.
  4. I am cordial, if not friendly, with all of my ex's and or sexual partners. Once I've decided it's over there really is no going back to it sexually or romantically but we can be homies all day.
  5. "Close your eyes and imagine my body Take your time because we've got all night." "It's funny how money changes situations, miscommunications lead to complications."
  6. Good Kisser is way hotter.
  7. It wasn't necessarily on the radio. (Actually not on the radio at all) But I went to the club this weekend and the DJ dropped Feedback and I put on for Janet real quick, though its not my favorite song.
  8. Taystee. Least favorite Janet song?
  9. There were quite a few big moves in Free agency this year; Pau is now a Chicago Bull which makes them contenders in the East especially with a healthy D. Rose. Melo stayed with the Knicks for a huge contract but unlikely to get a championship any time soon. Chris Bosh has re-signed with the Miami Heat. Jeremy Lin has been traded to the Lakers. Brooklyn is in pure turmoil. Paul Pierce is now a Washington Wizard. Lebron signed a two year contract. Makes it likely that Cavs can make a play for Kevin Love. The Heat are no longer serious championship contenders.
  10. I've never seen honey boo boo; but essentially I do believe she does speak how she speaks because she is poor and uneducated; not necessarily because she's southern. I am southern and I do not speak that way. However, in America, any time someone doesn't speak intellectually, it's associated with African-Americans or ebonics although I am an African-American and I do not speak using such language. I particularly take exception when African-Americans embrace such stereotypes for our culture. If it's broken english then its stereotyped with a foreign ethnicity.
  11. She never stated that she was speaking of ALL gay white men much like she was not referring to ALL black women. She was addressing those gay white men who think it's cool, cute, or funny, to adopt caricatures of African-American women stereotypes. She probably was hostile to them but degrading to them? I didn't see the article as degrading.
  12. I just hope Ralphie clapped back. I actually sat (or stood, rather) next to Breathless for the Rock Witchu Tour. I wonder what happened to some of the old forum-ers like Mr. Together and BLatin... the ones who use to always cause ruckus.
  13. No. I think it's one thing to say that as hip-hop has gotten popular, more of mainstream America has adopted said vernacular -- such as the N word, which white people have been using a LOT longer than hip hop has existed. It's another thing to suggest that hip hop culture is "loud, overbearing, ignorant." Yes they do. I was volunteering once and we took some kids white water rafting and one of the latino boys said something to me and added, "my n-word." I almost flipped him off that damn raft.
  14. Sunny Hostin should be permanently cast because she's popping and is quite the gatherer.
  15. Bih, what? I wish a bitch would spit on me. No goodness. And then for someone to try to put me on blast like that. I will wreck in a minute. But I am actually pretty close to some people on the forum and have met quite a few in person.
  16. The uncertainty lies in so many variations of this scenario; such as, how close of a friend this. If this is just someone you go out from drinks with from time to time -- that fills at a lower level of loyalty then your ride or die best friend. Also, the level of attraction that the friend has is also important -- if its just that your friend thinks the person looks good and would love to sleep with him, that's one thing versus if your friend is always bringing him and flirting etc etc. All of my friends find the people I talk to attractive because like why else would I be dating them. Lastly, if the interested friend is not trying to make it happen and the guy pushes up on you then.. welp.
  17. Everyone knew Britney can't sing and lip synchs at awards shows to songs that require very little vocal ability and dances stiffly these days but she still gets standing ovation because it's Britney, bitch.
  18. Are you saying being loud, overbearing, and ignorant w/ ass shots is hip hop culture or hip hop cultures contribution to American society?
