Selz
Credit to Effrem for giving me the idea as an opposite to his thread Or are there any phrases you might say to yourself but never aloud? For example sometimes I say to myself "Who that is?" instead of who's that British people can't pull off speaking that way but I would still like to I sometimes refer to strangers as 'bruv' or 'gangsta' The other day this guy was driving down the street and I was on the pavement and shouted "That's the wrong way bruv!" but I wouldn't call my friends 'bruv' lol it's weird. Selz
What is "bruv"? are you sure you're not making things up In America you might say 'bro' - it's mostly London slang. If somebody is walking too slow in front of me I might say under my breath "Come on bruv move ya ass" Ha that reminds me I also say "Are you CRAZY? (in a high pitched tone)" "I'm not here for that/I ain't here for that (depending on how sassy I'm feeling )" "SERIOUSLY??" "Whatevs" (very occasionally ) "Girl/boy please" (occasionally) or just "Girl?"
