Yea I expect to defend those I like, Janet shouldnt be 1 I'd have too on a Janet fourm but it is what it is, I talk shit about the artist I dont. Well honestly I feel the way the people who hate Rihanna do to an extent with Madge, but I just dont go there as much cause I REALLY dont care enough to constantly give someone I dislike sooo much that much attention.....but thats just me :coffee:

Exactly. Hell they shade the hell out of my favs Mimi and MJ all the damn time on here LOL so ppl shouldnt expect Rih to get treated any differently

This IS her biggest song. "Umbrella" was a huge monster, but "We Found Love" is surpassing that song in every aspect.

It shole is. It's inescapable. I heard it twice today on my pop station today. It's HUGE.

I think the record company didn't expect this song to be this BIG.

Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ Scores A Perfect 10 Atop Hot 100

Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, remains atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a milestone 10th total week at the summit.

The song, which already represents Rihanna’s longest stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100, becomes one of just 11 boasting a solo female lead billing to have ruled for at least 10 weeks in the tally’s 53-year history. “We Found Love” is the first such leader since Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” logged 10 weeks on top in 2006-07.

Here is the complete list of songs by women to achieve strangleholds of at least 10 frames on the Hot 100 (including two tracks in which other acts share lead credit and one in which two women trade lead vocals):

Weeks at No. 1, Title, Artist, Peak Year

16, “One Sweet Day,” Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men, 1995 (*the longest reign of any title in the chart’s history)

14, “We Belong Together,” Mariah Carey, 2005

14, “I Will Always Love You,” Whitney Houston, 1992

13, “The Boy Is Mine,” Brandy & Monica, 1998

11, “I’ll Be Missing You,” Puff Daddy & Faith Evans featuring 112, 1997

11, “Un-Break My Heart,” Toni Braxton, 1996

10, “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, 2011 (to-date)

10, “Irreplaceable,” Beyonce, 2006

10, “Foolish,” Ashanti, 2002

10, “Physical,” Olivia Newton-John, 1981

10, “You Light Up My Life,” Debby Boone, 1977

“We FoundLove” maintains its Hot 100 dominance by spending a ninth week atop Radio Songs (150 million audience impressions, down 1%, according to Nielsen BDS), while slipping 4-6 on Digital Songs (140,000 downloads sold, down 24%, according to Nielsen SoundScan).

First they started comparing her to Beyonce, and now they don't even do it anymore. They compare her to Gaga as the top dog in the industry. Impressive.

I posted an Rollingstone article about Rih vs Bey thing..I don't think they don't do it as much now..and the whole comparing her to GAGA thing is stupid too. She's in her own lane and I accept her for who she is. If she was anything more then the comparisons would be non-stop.

Birthday Cake to be released this Monday Feb. 20th

Fans sweet on island hitmaker Rihanna‘s ‘Birthday Cake’, lifted from sixth album ‘Talk That Talk’, will certainly be talking when they find out who her co-star is on the remix according to producers.

Despite igniting (then quickly shooting down) rumors that ‘Beautiful’ belter Christina Aguilera would make a cameo on ‘Cake’, Da Internz (The Dream‘s co-producers of the track) took to MTV to share news of the song’s revamp.

Already confirming the album interlude has been rebooted with a full version and granted single status, the production duo also hint at a visual to accompany the sexy tune. But, did they drop hints on who the ‘shocking’ co-star will be? (NO IT WILL NOT BE CHRIS BROWN)

the song will be released this Monday Feb. 20th Rihanna's Birthday
