I remember her doing an interview during the All For You era and the interviewer asked her about one of the songs on the album and if she wrote it or not and I remember her saying flat out that Terry wrote the song, but if you look in the booklet...Janet, Jimmy and Terry are credited for writing it. Im not saying that Janet doesnt write her songs, but im just saying... Why would it be suspect if as you say "Janet flat out said Terry wrote the song"? Which means Janet doesn't cover anything up and she'll say what it is unlike Beyonce who don't say shit til she's put on blast. Even if she didn't write a word she could have still written the melodies and the music, thus the writing credits. From what jimmy said it wasn't certain that she didn't end up writing the lyrics. Janet = producer/songwriter says the artist told another producer/songwriter to write the songs ----> her name shows up in the credits ------> she must've changed her mind and decided to write.
