As long as she stays in her lane she will have a pretty decent R&B album sales.. She probably has one of the top best female R&B singles of 2012 .. But I think people are doing the most though acting like she's about to come shut the game down...getting to the top is the easy part! Delivering an entire album and remaining at the top is the challenge. How many one hit wanders have come and gone???? And how often do we talk about Ceelo? I mean I could, I love his work, but he's not a hot topic here, she is. Nah, I genuinely think it's the best R&B female single (hell thinkin about it maybe best R&B all together), she delivered, I wanted her to, but I was ready to be disapointed or let down by her too. I refuse to believe its the best R&B song of the entire year HERE, but I have high respect for him and his musical creativity and can easily hold a convo about Ceelo/Goodie Mob/Gnarles Barkley but that topic here would not be that hot, theres quite a few artist I like/love who I don't bring up here, because tho a few might agree or discuss or ask to be be informed, the vast majority wouldn't care But I never said that my opinion is speaking for everybody, I said in MY opinion this is the best R&B song I've heard all year,and being the 12th month, I think I'm entitled to be as in shock/awe of it, it's what I've been wanting. This is her time to shine. Even if she is a one hit wonder, she finally has the recognition she deserves.
