The pop superstar has announced a September release date for the second part to The 20/20 Experience. He took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal the September 30 release date. “The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30th,” wrote J.T. on a piece of paper. ?uestlove of The Roots previously said that the project would drop in November with 10 new songs. “spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…..10 songs later= 20 vision),” he wrote in a forum post. The first installment of 20/20 is currently No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 1.5 million copies since its March release. It’s unknown what the icons were working on, but they appeared to be having a good time, sharing laughs over drinks. Def Jam executive Lenny S. posted the photo on his Instagram page, writing, “JAY x JT x NAS x TIMBO Rat Pack shit. For some this is ‘Work’… For us it’s just Fun.” “its me, nas, jay, & jt what more could u expect,” tweeted Timbo. Jay-Z and J.T. will launch their “Legends of the Summer” tour on July 17 in Toronto. Meanwhile, Justin and Timbaland are working on the second installment of The 20/20 Experience, which is due September 20. The pop superstar has also been in the studio with Pharrell.
