JT's album was the BEST selling of 2013 with just a lil over 2 mill ...so what does that tell you? Thats considered GREAT in todays music, no one is doing it. Are you understanding that?.... 2 mill is considered diamond now But how much is the singer making off a low selling album??? Especially one with a lot of writers/producers... That's a whole nother subject..that has nothing to do with sales. Just imagine someone like Keyshia Cole ..she's certainly not making much off the albums as a JT or Beyonce. JT usually writes with 1 or 2 ppl aside from himself..now Beyonce..? I cant speak on her how many ppl she has writing with her..lol besides Beyonce has a percentage thing set up to where she gets writing credit for ever song she does..no matter who writes it...its in the conrtract when you work with her ..and those writers and producers sign it.. but like they say NO ARTIST should ever rely on albums to make money cuz thats not where the dollars come in at unless you are a SOLE writer of all of your projects like MAriah is..
