Woman Urges Fans To Boycott Lil Wayne After Prejudiced Comments About Black Women

We wrote it off as just a lyric when Lil Wayne said “Beautiful black woman, I bet that b*tch look better red” in his new song “Right Above.” But could the father of this beautiful brown-skinned girl really be color struck?

According to one of our readers, the answer is a hardy yes. Destiny, who describes herself as dark-skinned, says that derogatory statements made during a recent encounter with Wayne and his Young Money lackeys left her determined never to support the rapper again.

We met up with Mack Maine from Young Money, he then took us to a hotel a couple of other girls were there and so was Lil Wayne, Guda Guda, Lil Chuckee, and Birdman. When we entered the room Guda was like “Damn, y’all pretty, to be dark skin.” And then Wayne quoted a verse from his song ["Right Above"]. I heard the song before and I was offended when I heard the lyrics, but I brushed my feelings off and forgot about what the gremlin said. But him saying it over again made me angry as hell. So me being the outspoken person that I am, I said, “Wayne, your daughter is dark skin so why would you say such ignorance?” He said ‘My daughter is a dark skinned millionaire, that’s the difference between her and you.”

I can tell he was very upset because i bought his daughter up but that is no excuse for what he said. Next he stated, “MY daughter is the first and last dark skin child I’m having. The rest of my baby moms [are] light skinned chicks. I even got an Asian baby moms to make sure I have a daughter with good hair. Too bad we had a son.”

Everybody started laughing and [we] stormed out of the room. Some guys followed us saying “Not everybody hate dark skinned girls. Young Money just allergic to Chocolate.”

It's hard to know whether this girl's story is genuine or if she's whoring for her 15 minutes, but it wouldn't be the first time Lil Wayne has looked like an idiot. -_-

Self hate and ignorance is not a good look period. But when you look like lil wayne, you really should not be speaking on other peoples looks. :coffee:

But his attitude doesn't surprise me. He's from New Orleans and colorism is a major problem down there. I just wish folks would grow up. Its 2011, and this shit is really tired now. :sigh:

This makes me think about all the double standard issues we have in society.

Being a darskin chick is not "hott" but being a darkskin man (nowadays) is a GOD

Chicks having girl-on-girl action..not a big fuss. Some guy-on-guy action .."they're FAGGOTS"

Any and everything is unbalanced and unfair when it comes to race, complexion, sexuality, etc.

It could potentially mean that she would look better lightskin; or it could be a reference to Lil Wayne's affiliation with the Bloods Gang. In order to fit this story, however, you would apply the former; as Blatin stated.

That makes no sense. If he were referring to an article of clothing, maybe. But he was talking about a woman. So no boo.

Wayne has made it clear the he prefers light skin women on many a track. This is the same man who just last year declared "I like a long hair, thick, red bone". So you know where he's coming from. And if that's his preference fine, he's entitled to it. But when your preference cause you to be disrespectful, derogatory and discriminatory in your actions, then it is a problem. Colorism is a form of racism, whether people want to admit it or not.

You know damn well he meant red bone.

It's fine that he prefers light skinned women, but he's reaching racist territory and flat out self hate.

I didn't say he was referring to an article of clothing.. I said he could potentially be referring to his affiliation with the Bloods gang; which he rapped about moments before that verse.

And please, I have my preference, dark skinned, and I discriminate with who I fuck, and there is no problem with that.
