bu.
Just watched Bey. I mean it was sexy overall but I was not wowed. The only good thing was that she actually had on stage chemistry with Jay this time. And Paul McCartney grooving along was HILARIOUS. But yeah - that was sloppy. Not that impressed,
TwistedElegance™
Just finished watching, and overall I really liked the show. People are doing the most over Beyonce's performance. It wasn't awful at all, but it wasn't Grammy-worthy - let alone deserving of opening the show. Macklemore's performance was my favourite, it actually brought a tear to my eye. Madonna looked like hell, but I loved her inclusion. That's twice now Mary Lambert has been upstaged during a performance of 'Same Love' after being outshone by Jennifer Hudson at the VMAs. Other good performances were Imagine Dragons & Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Daft Punk, Kacey Musgraves, Carole King & Sarah Bareilles and P!nk. As for the awards I think Daft Punk were deserving of the big two. If anyone deserves a dragging tonight it's Pharrell for wearing that RIDICULOUS hat. jarrylf
Only internet stans tbh. When you look for hate, you'll find it. You been on that mission for awhile now too Really? I have? Yet didn't I just say in the 1st page that "I can't shade her performances" (normally), thus paying her performances prior to tonight a complement? LOL nobody had to look far, her own fans (the non-stans) were clowining that mess, cause that's what it was.

It wasn't terrible...but there should have been more "uumph" considering who it is. I found it incredibly sexy though especially her and Jay together.

EXACTLY Cause she wasn't even the worst of the night, like Im not trashing HER at all it was just underwhelming and a bit messy to me but it could've been much worst, But it was something that should've NEVER opened ANYTHING, I'd put money on if she opened with XO it would've been better. kidfresh832
Typically the show opening should provide the appropriate energy level to carry throughout the long show. That is my biggest problem with Bey's performance. It just wasn't big enough to hold me through the terrible performances after. It wasn't BAD, it was just sort of tame. I would expect that in her concert in the middle somewhere. It would have fit there but even then you would expect more dancers or something to spice it up make it bigger. It is just people being picky to an extent though because usually you can count on her for one of the better live performers. Critics are giving it B+and above from the review of the show. E! loved it, EW B+

Aquaria
Lipping is fine if it isn't so damn obvious. And why did she need to anyway, was bending over in a chair really that strenuous? She was live at the end though it seemed.

Laveaux
some say they hate Beyoncé, yet she stays on your mind. what a conundrum. Anywho, first off love the fact that Beyoncé's hair was short and looked a mess...anything is better than that long blonde weave she sports all of the time...as far as her performance she did what she could with that song, it wasn't good or bad it just was. Beyoncé has never been that sexy seductive chick, so it was going to be a problem from jump...Beyoncé is best served with high energy, oversinging and fast rampant moving...that's what people want to see from her. People are not here for her gyrating on the 'Miss You Much' chair and serving mediocre 'Flashdance' teas. In other words, she should have saved that for the BET awards and did something completely different, it wasn't Grammy performance worthy at all. If she really wanted to do something special with the song, she should have revamped it and remixed it like Alanis did with 'You Outta Know' and add some dramatic opera elements in there and she would have easily had the best performance of the night.

Bailey
How do you make an era last when you already released a video for every song. There's no more award shows for a long time.. There's no other song on the album that is really radio friendly. And the album is already on the decline.. um tour

janetDAYZ
Kendrick SHOULD have walked away with something. He is very deserving. And had the BEST performance of the night. I see P!nk turned off most ppl. Theyre over her recycling the circus thing. Which is repetitive ass fuck. You already had ur moment a few years back... Move on..dude, do u really think it was smart to do it again?

janetDAYZ
All he's gonna do is Flip it so his favs can stay "winning" like he always does. Like... "Well, to be honest..you can't say it was a "recycle" cause technically she did more than just flailing around in the air like her previous performance. Her feet eventually touched the stage and she performed w/ more grit and attitude than anyone in the whole show" Signed Delusional Stan Game.
