vibeology Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Rise Of The Guardians= C+, I liked it, but I was expecting better, like I was hoping it'd be "Sherekish" where it's a kid movie with mostly hidden adult humor, but it wasn't. it was a kid movie, a REALLLLY good kid movie, but not what I was hoping for. Pi's rapport with Richard Parker was so stunning to watch as it unfolded. I cried right along with him on the island scene. I don't remember much about the book, having read it years ago, but the movie was wonderful in its own way. That's the right way to make a 3D movie.
