Her appearance last night reached over 11 million people alone, Brandy has never had that kind of audience. Christina also performed at the AMA's.Yes, Brandy did the BET awards, but it was a tribute to Whitney and not her own stuff. Brandy doing clubs still counts as Brandy doing promo, and it especially counts nowdays since everybody has cameras so you can see it, Christina did NOT do that. Sorry but Brandy still did more promo for her album than Christina did for hers, no matter how you try to spend it, Brandy performed her 1st single ALOT before the album came out, Christina didn't perform it on a stage once before or as of right now after, it's not the same, again, Christina's song debut'd at it's peak it didnt rise because she herself didnt push it to. Brandy pushed Put It Down between August & October very hard. And the BET awards was before Brandy's album came out, the AMA's was after Christina's. Bottom line Christina had the advantage but she didn't use it, Brandy worked very hard this era and that 65 was a shock to us all, but she worked for it. At the end of the day they both underperformed - BRandy for the amount of promo she did underperformed for the amount she sold and Xtina should have sold at least 100k based on her name alone. They both tanked thus far - it's not a war. They're both completely different artists. At the end of the day both albums are solid pieces of work and both artists seem to be proud of it as well as the fans. Damn you are weeks late on this topic. You do realize that these 3 performances, of the 3 songs on the album, were only performed once, the hilarious thing about expecting her being on the show alone to be enough promo is you guys make it sound like she's performing songs from the album ever since. AGAIN, Brandy's performances at clubs and other small places count as promo because it doesnt matter how small the venue is, people have phones, and record the whole thing and post it on the web and blog sites, so it ends up being seen. There is literally no video that exists of Christina singing her 1st single. THAT is how it's excusable. O_O Again you're really making it sound like Christina was actually performing HER SINGLE . She didn't perform the 1st single....at all. Even beyond the performing, Brandy's been promoting the album that was released in October since February. We didn't even get an album announcement until like June.
